Driftwood Quintet returns to the Glendale Public Library with a set of showstoppers for violin and reed quintet. Violinist Patricia Cole will shine on striking works by Margaret Bonds and William Grant Still, and shred arpeggios on film composer Max Richter's minimalist "November." Driftwood Quintet will round out the concert with works by Villa-Lobos, Ravel, and their fan-favorite flashy arrangement of Dukas' "Sorcerer's Apprentice." Enjoy the safe return to in-person shows while supporting your local reed quintet, local library, and local music.
